MAX Endoscopy has designed a unique device that will help solve a problem faced by virtually all gastroenterologists during certain cases, which is the difficulty in advancing the distal tip of the colonoscope to the cecum during colonoscopy. This is often the result of the endoscope looping in the sigmoid colon. Our Success Cecal Intubation Assist™ device provides the physician with the option to temporarily increase the stiffness of the endoscope. This device is intuitive, simple to deploy in the accessory channel of the endoscope, far less expensive than competing approaches, and presents less risk for patients as it is non-patient contact.
